Port-Harcourt recently witnessed a night of unparalleled glitz, glamour, and opulence as family, friends, and high-society guests gathered at the prestigious EUI Event Centre to celebrate the 70th birthday of Dr. Tony Eze.
Dubbed a “Luxury Grand Celebration,” the milestone event was exactly that—a masterclass in elegance. From the breathtaking, grand chandeliers and dazzling pyrotechnics to a magnificent, custom diamond-themed tiered cake, every detail of the night reflected the premium status of the celebrant. As one guest aptly put it during the festivities: “When a man has been remarkable in life, it is important to celebrate him.”
Taking the spotlight, Dr. Eze—looking dashing in his finely tailored suit and signature dark shades—expressed deep gratitude for reaching his new milestone. “First, I thank Almighty God for getting me to the seventh floor,” he remarked. He took time to acknowledge the pillars of his success, adding, “The most important thing, I thank God and I thank my wife for being there for me, also my kids and my friends who encouraged me to get to where I am today. And by His grace, I thank God where I am today, and that was my dream.”

Amidst the dancing and the flowing champagne, moving tributes poured in for the celebrant. A heartfelt speech from one of the guests beautifully captured the essence of the new decade: “The night is honestly just beginning. Your year of 70 is also just beginning too, we’re just getting started. There are so many new things to accomplish.
